This kimono-style jacket, from Vogue Knitting Magazine – Spring/Summer 2007, and shown here knit in elann.com Esprit, is best suited to experienced knitters and features a simple yet elegant all over slip stitch pattern. The low V neck, three quarter length sleeves, and patch pockets work together with alternating reverse crochet strips on the borders to create an elegant cardigan that is suitable for the workplace or for an evening out.

  • Experience Level: Experienced
  • Sizes: S, M, L, XL, and XXL (finished bust 37, 40, 44.5, 47.5, 52.5″; finished length 28, 28.5, 29, 29.5, 30″)
  • Materials:  1615 m (1760 yds) of the main color and 323 m (352 yds) each of two contrasting colors of sport weight yarn (24 sts to 10 cm/4″) – project worked out to 18 balls of the main color and 4 balls each of two contrasting colors of elann.com Esprit.
