This elegant wrap uses a colorful gradient yarn and short rows to mimic hand painting on a fabric of lace weight silk and mohair. Knit in one piece sideways, with the sleeves and lace border added afterwards, its size can easily be adapted.
Sample garment shown with blue background and red, pink and purple accents was knit using approximately 125-150g of silk mohair blend for its background and approximately 100g of multi-colored fingering weight yarn for its accents. Sample garment shown with lavender pink background and pink accents was knit by Raveller strick-tick, and used 4.8 balls (just under 125 grams) of mohair-silk.
