Treble Point

BY KAREN HEIMBURGER

Treble Point is a cosy, quick-to-knit shawl that uses traditional Shetland construction methods and features textured garter chevrons, arrowhead lace, and a scalloped garter edging. Knit in three parts, beginning at the point of the centre triangle, it increases with yarn over loops at the outside edges that are easily picked up to work the lace border, and the shawl is finished off with a scalloped edging, which is worked lengthwise, while simultaneously knitting it onto the live stitches of the border.
