Tender

BY MELODY HOFFMAN

The picture of well-dressed relaxation, Tender is a boxy, loosely fitted dropped shoulder pullover and is meant to be worn with 20-25 cm (8-10″) of positive ease.  Worked in in the round from the bottom up to the armholes, it starts with the chevron texture, then switches to a more relaxing stockinette before separating front and back.  A couple of short rows are added for shaping the neckline, and then you pick up stitches to knit the sleeves.  The best part – it’s seamless!

The sample shown was knit in a merino/silk/yak blend, but we think it will be equally lovely (and affordable) in our elann.com Milly Milly DK 100% mercerized Australian wool.
