Teakwood Cocoon

BY CECILY GLOWIK MACDONALD

Part wrap, part cardigan, this easy to wear piece is a great extra layer for cooler evening temps or air conditioned buildings.  With lots of Stockinette Stitch, an easy to memorize cable and lace panel, plus simple rib trims, this also makes a wonderful carry along knit.  Available in seven sizes, it is designed to be worn with 4-6” of positive ease and the sample is knit in a Fingering weight, 100% wool yarn [knit at a worsted (20 stitches and 28 rows = 10cm/4″) gauge].  We think it would be equally fabulous in either a Fingering, Sport or DK weight yarn, depending on how light or warm a cardigan is desired.
