Komori

BY MELODY HOFFMAN

Grab your needles and go on a delightful knitting adventure with this cuddly and creative cardigan.  Worked in two parts, it begins with the bottom section that features bobbles, lace, and cables, worked flat like a scarf.  Stitches are then picked up to knit the upper body and upper sleeves, sides are seamed to create the armhole opening, after which both sleeves are knit in the round from the top down.  Available in five sizes, Komori is meant to be worn with 46-51 cm (18-20″) of positive ease for a casual look and relaxed fit.

The sample shown was knit in 100% wool, and would be a terrific project for our elann.com Wagga Wagga Bulky superwash treated, Australian wool and nylon blend.
