This striking pair of socks features slipped-stitch colorwork and is worked top-down with a patterned fleegle heel. Using two colors of yarn (with high contrast), the effect  is created by working in single row stripes and slipping certain stitches only on the even rows. This technique is similar to mosaic colorwork, except only one color of yarn is ever slipped.

The sample pair shown were knit using a solid color paired with a variegated/gradient sock yarn, making the design absolutely ideal for our perfectly paired Wagga Wagga Sock and Impromptu Lite!
