Edie

BY ISABELL KRAEMER

A simple tee, Edie is worked with raglan increases from the top down, working back and forth until the V-Neck shaping is complete. The top is then knit in the round to the end, adding interest with textured stripes and the rounded bottom, created with short row shaping, lends a casual finish. Stitches for short sleeves are picked up after body is complete, to work the sleeves top down in the round and an optional neck finishing is provided.  Offered in seven sizes, the designer’s blue 100% linen sample shows size XS with 2″ of positive ease and unfinished, raw edges.  The white sample shown was beautifully knit by Raveler, loveforpugs in size M2 using 5 skeins of our lustrous elann Luna cotton/rayon blend.
