Gentle waves lapping,
In white foam, awash – ancient amber.
Taking inspiration from the water, this flowing shawl creates the illusion of waves using simple lace and garter stitches shaped with short rows. An asymmetrical half circle, it is knit from the top down and formed into 12 lace wedges. Suitable for intermediate knitters, Dancing Waves is is lovely knit in elann Tarantella, or for a completely different look, see the same pattern knit in elann Silken Kydd.
