Inspired by a forest of pine trees, this triangular shawl offers lots of interesting texture that will keep you entertained row after row.   Bands of lace and twisted stitches alternate with plain stocking stitch, and the shawl is finished with a knit on saw-tooth edging.  Suitable for adventurous beginners, it will be a quick knit for the more skilled knitter and features both charted and written instructions.  Sample shown was knit in an alpaca blend yarn, but Canopy would be equally lovely in a wool or wool blend yarn.
